John has just recently concluded
a private research (started around 1985) on the accents that migrants have, all thaw they have been away from they language
of birth country for many years. Conclusion in brief; if a person moves to another country before the age of 11, he or she will
lose accent language of birth country, and if a person moves to another country and new language after the age of 13 there
accent will remain with them for life. (if you
have opinion on this, john will be very interested to hear from you). |
